Auch "Bridesmaids" darf in acht Kategorien auf einen Preis hoffen. User können bei den MTV Movie Awards Schauspieler und Filme online wählen.
Am 3. Juni werden in Los Angeles die MTV Movie Awards vergeben. Vor kurzem wurden die Nominierten bekanntgegeben. Die größten Chancen auf die Filmpreise des US-Musiksenders hat das Zukunftsdrama "The Hunger Games" und die Komödie "Bridesmaids" (hierzulande unter dem Titel "Brautalarm" bekannt. Beide Filme wurden gleich achtmal nominiert. "Harry Potter und die Heiligtümer des Todes - Teil 2" hat sechs Chancen auf einen MTV Award. Diese drei Streifen treten in der Hauptkategorie "Film des Jahres" gegen "The Help" und "Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Teil 1" an.
Ryan Gosling für "Drive" nominiert
Der in Kritikerkreisen hoch gehandelte Thriller "Drive" ist für die Königskategorie hingegen nicht vorgesehen. Hauptdarsteller Ryan Gosling darf sich aber in der Kategorie "Best Male Performance" Chancen ausrechnen.
Auch für Filmpreise doch recht ungewöhnliche Kategorien werden bei den MTV Movie Awards vergeben - Unter anderem für die "Beste Kampfszene", den "Besten Kuss" oder den "Best On-Screen Dirtbag". Nicht fehlen darf ein Filmmusikpreis. In dieser Sparte rittern LMFAO (für den Film "21 Jump Street", Kid Cudi ("Project X") und College featuring Electric Youth ("Drive") um einen Movie Award.
Die Preisträger der MTV Movie Awards werden nicht von einer Jury sondern von den Usern bestimmt. Auf der Internetseite des Senders www.mtv.com kann man ab sofort seine Stimme abgeben.
